Your community.
Let’s get it started.

A practical guide to inviting Pryn, finding your server, and setting up the essentials.

GO STRAIGHT TO WHAT YOU NEED

A guide for every part of your server.

STEP 01

Invite Pryn to your server

Start with a server you manage.

Use the invite button to open Discord’s authorization screen. Choose the server you want to add Pryn to, review the requested permissions, and complete the steps in Discord.

If your server is missing from the list, check that you are signed into the right Discord account and have permission to add apps to that server.

Review the permissions on Discord’s screen before authorizing. Only invite apps to a server you are allowed to manage.

STEP 02

Open your dashboard

Your community, in one place.

Open the Pryn dashboard and select your server. The dashboard is the place to explore the tools and settings available to your community.

The dashboard opens on the original Pryn website. This redesigned website provides information and interactive previews; it does not store your Discord account or change your server settings.

STEP 03

Set up the essentials

Make the first visit a good one.

You do not need to configure everything at once. Start with the parts your community will notice first:

  • Welcome: choose a home for member arrivals and write a clear next step.
  • Support: give requests a dedicated panel instead of letting them get lost in chat.
  • Moderation: decide on your rules, then use the available automation to support your team.

Try the experience with your moderators before making it part of everyone’s routine.

STEP 04

Give your community a voice

A little consistency goes a long way.

Use custom messages and embeds for announcements, information panels, and updates. Lead with what matters, keep the message concise, and give members one clear action when possible.

Try the live embed preview on the messages page to explore titles, body copy, and accent colours. Changes in that preview stay in your browser and are never sent to Discord.

Try the embed preview
STEP 05

Before you welcome everyone in

A quick check with your team.

  • The welcome channel is easy to find.
  • Members know where the rules are.
  • A test ticket reaches the right people.
  • Announcements read clearly on mobile.
  • Your team knows where to find the dashboard and support.
STEP 06

Keep a helping hand nearby

When you need the product details.

For the exact options and behaviour of the current bot, use the original documentation or ask in the Pryn support server. Include what you were trying to do, what happened, and any relevant non-sensitive error message.

Never post a bot token, password, or other private credential in a support message.
